…HOT WATER TANK!!! Funny how the only time it goes is when nothing is open. We boiled water to do dishes, went to a friends place for showers and had no hot water all Christmas day. You don’t realize how much you depend on it when it’s gone. Rod is hard at it this morning putting in a new one. The tank had a 6 year warranty and only lasted just over 2 years. Thanks Rod!!!

Ahhhh…4 days off – I’m so happy to be home with family and friends for the holidays. We have friends coming over today we haven’t seen in 5 years – it’s going to be so nice! It has also been 15 years since I had a Christmas with my Mom!

I’ve got spiced rum, eggnog and a bunch of appy’s…let the festivities begin!

Computer is back…

…but it’s still slow. They did a diagnostic and said everything looked fine so I guess I will start cleaning off e-mails and files then to hopefully make it work faster.

Amazing how much a computer can control everything we do!

I’m bringing it to the computer doctor to see what’s wrong. I will still blog and facebook but won’t be able to do e-mails. I should have it back in a day or two so if there is anything urgent I will get back to you when my computer is all better.

Open House Today!

First of all thanks to everyone that brought in a food donation. If we put everything in grocery bags there is probably 50 bags or more of food and much needed supplies for the Westshore food bank. I will be taking everything over to them on the 22nd. Second, thanks to Upsy Daisy Designs for donating the great rub-ons and paper we used for the make’n'take projects.
