Remember the 60 Page Club?
Each month you complete 5 (or more) pages (including pictures and journaling). At the end of the year you will have completed 60 pages!
Well, we’re going to do it again and what a perfect time to start – JANUARY 1, 2010 — THIS IS ONE RESOLUTION THAT MIGHT WORK and IT’s FREE!
If you would like to join the club please e-mail scrappix@scrapbookparade.ca and we will add you to the list.
At the end of each month please come into the store and mark the number of pages you completed on the score sheets posted in the workshop. Even if you only get 1 or 2 done come and mark it down anyways. Each month all participants that have 5 or more pages listed will be entered in a draw to win a prize.
We will have a HALF-WAY Party and a YEAR-END Party too! Come and join the FUN!!!
Highlights from our last 60 Page Club were:
Our 61 participants finished off doing 4,961 pages for the year!
First Place went to Marg Levasseur for 314 Pages
Second Place went to Mariann Bjaanes for 232 Pages
Third Place went to Sue Smith for 225 Pages
And hats off to Jacquelin Green (teacher) for doing 416 pages! That is more than one a day!!!

Hi everyone,
Due to this lovely Christmas-y weather we are having, a number of people couldn’t get to the store to deliver their entries ( actually the store was CLOSED yesterday due to weather – but we are OPEN TODAY!) so we have extended the deadline for challenge #2 to Sunday January 4th. That will also be the deadline for this next challenge – Double Trouble!
This week I want to see a double layout in 8 1/2 x 11 or 12 x 12 size. It can be any theme, any style, but it must have a TITLE and JOURNALING!
A date and a name is not journaling!!! It must have real journaling, where you tell the story and we are interested in hearing more!! If you need help look HERE for some great suggestions to improve your journaling!
You have two weeks, and lots of photo ops between now and then, so let’s get busy!!!
Happy Snow Day everyone – keep checking back for some wintery Christmas inspiration from the gang at Scrapbook Parade!

We had a good response from you for our first challenge – and we hope you enjoyed participating . The winner of the random draw from all entries is:
Michelle Hoitsema!!
Congrats Michelle – here is Michelle’s layout!

Now for this week’s challenge – All Buttoned Up!!!
Since the weather outside is frightful, how about a layout that is all buttoned up?? For this week, please create a layout using at least 10 buttons . The page must be 12 x 12 or 8 1/2 x 11 and can be a one or two page layout! When you have completed the challenge, bring it into the store for a ballot! The deadline to bring it into the store is SUNDAY DECEMBER 21, at 4:00pm!
Get busy and let’s see what you can come up with this week – another chance to win a prize from Scrapbook Parade!
Happy Scrapping!
