Photo Editing and Adobe Photoshop Classes

Many of you have been asking if we’ll be offering more photo editing or photoshop classes and YES we will be.  Below are the next available dates.

If you’re interested in weekends please let us know so that we can coordinate some dates (if possible) based on the demand.

SESSION 1 – $40

Do you want to learn how to improve the pictures you take in a few easy steps?  It doesn’t matter if you are shooting with a digital point and shoot or an slr, this workshop will give you a few easy tricks to get better photos every time.  Bring your camera with you to Session 1 and we will go on a small field trip and help you develop your skills.  From looking for the right light, the difference between aperture and shutter speed, what settings to use for what types of situations, using the rule of thirds and many more, we will improve your ability to record the moments that you would like to scrapbook.
 
So now that you’ve taken those pictures….Do you ever think to yourself, “If only this picture wasn’t so dark, or if only my daughter didn’t have red eyes, or too bad uncle Jim has a very shiny bald head” in this picture.   The rest of Session 1 will focus on basic editing of those pictures that aren’t perfect.  Red eye, brightening, exposure corrections, skin tone correction, cropping and sharpening, just to name a few.
 
SESSION 2 – $40

Session 2 will focus on more advanced techniques including blending photos together seamlessly, as well as in a collage, coloring/tinting photos, creating black and white photos, using filters and actions, inserting creative journaling and titles right on your photos, etc.

Classes like these can cost you hundreds of dollars but we are bringing them to you at HUGE Savings!

Materials Needed
Camera—either point and shoot or dslr
Adobe Photoshop Elements editing program – you can download a 30 day free trial from the Adobe site

You don’t have to have a laptop but you can bring yours if you have one…more details will be sent to you when you sign up.
